COVID-19 Products Needed for New York State: Guidelines for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

New York State is looking for manufacturers that can help produce critical medical supplies during the COVID-19 crisis. The state is encouraging companies that have the proper equipment and personnel to begin manufacturing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) products, such as masks.

We would like to hear from you.

If you have already transitioned (or are in the process of transitioning) to manufacturing PPE products, contact CEG via email: Michael Lobsinger or Louise Aitcheson (or your regional Manufacturing Extension Partnership center) if you already haven’t done so.

Businesses interested in manufacturing PPE products are encouraged to fill out our survey and review the links below. Companies should include a contact person and information on what supplies they are considering producing.

ESD is looking primarily for:

Companies with an existing supply for FDA or other industry-approved/standard personal protection equipment (PPE) for healthcare workers (N95 masks, gowns, head covers, face shields, glovers, etc.)

Companies with an existing supply of FDA approved ventilators

Companies who already have, or can secure on their own, FDA or other industry-approved PPE specs and can begin producing ASAP

Companies who already have, or can secure, FDA-approved ventilator specs and begin production
