Saratoga Spring Water leases space at Arnoff Global Logistics campus in Saratoga County

“Pallets stacked with aluminum cans and cobalt blue Saratoga Spring Water bottles line the floors of the 120,000-square-foot warehouse at the Arnoff Global Logistics campus in Malta, less than four months after the shipping and storage company finished construction of the $15 million building.

Saratoga Spring Water Co. has signed a multiyear lease to use three-quarters of Arnoff’s newest warehouse as the 150-year-old beverage company focuses on growing international sales through its sponsorship of Bravo’s “Top Chef World All-Stars” competition.”

SUNY Schenectady, MVP Health Care partner on new workforce development program

“SUNY Schenectady and MVP Health Care have partnered on a new workforce development program that will provide a direct pathway to a career in the health insurance field.

The two-part training program will see students enroll in courses relating to customer service and claims processing management at the newly named MVP Health Care Impact Lab, located at SUNY Schenectady’s Center City location, according to a news release.”

Startup uses FuzeHub grant to reimagine the leather industry

“Decades ago, upstate New York was home to a bustling leather industry that fueled the economy before environmental regulations pushed production offshore. Now, a new startup wants to use its technology to reposition the state as a hub for sustainable, plant-based leather.

Uncaged Innovations Inc., a biomaterials company originally founded in Troy, is hoping to revolutionize the leather industry by combining the power of nature and technology to create a manufactured replica of animal hides.”
