About Venture B:
The Venture Bplan Series is a collaboration of the Center for Economic Growth (CEG) and Rensselaer’s Emerging Ventures Ecosystem (EVE). This regularly-scheduled forum is designed for entrepreneurs to get visibility to the region’s angel and institutional investors, business service providers, advisers, students, faculty, alumni and the early stage business community.

We have two businesses showcasing their companies to a panel of investors, entrepreneurs, business leaders and the general public. Following a 15 minute Power Point presentation the panel will ask the presenter questions and provide feedback. For more information please call 518-465-8975.

In 2010, Luke Evans went hiking with his friend and mentor Juan Gomez in search of the elusive Chaga mushroom. At first sight Luke understood the value of this remarkable superfood. While in college he and other UAlbany students Marc Iskandar and Adam Kaiser would forage in the Adirondacks. Quickly the team evolved from classmates and friends to business partners.

As they began to execute their plan, the ChugaChaga team reached many important milestones, including their acceptance into the highly competitive Food-X program, a NYC based accelerator for disruptive food businesses.

Common Obstacles to Growth:

• Lack of Visibility (Blind Spots)
• Lack of Focus of Executive Team
• Lack of Commitment

Growth is not an event; it’s a process that requires …
• Diagnosis and Analysis
• A Leadership conversation
• Skilled insights to tell you what to do about it
• Commitment to practical and measurable action
• Allocation of time and resources to do it
• Review, Refine, and Adjust (against a clear vision)

About the Briefing:

During this session we will showcase some of the tools of this recent addition to our Business Growth Services offerings – tools that enable you to see blind spots, increase focus, and drive commitment.

CEG offers the Via Revenue Throughput Program to small and medium sized companies, delivering “tools” that drive visibility on revenue opportunities and priorities through a series of DIY hands-on executive team engagements. Please join us on February 11th to learn more or reach out to the CEG contact below.

“The VIA Revenue Throughput Program was enlightening. It’s a very systematic and easy to follow method of cutting through the “noise” and getting to the heart of our company issues…”
