A Conversation with New York Fed President John C. Williams

Join us for an event featuring guest speaker John C. Williams, President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. President Williams will deliver keynote remarks on the economic outlook and monetary policy, with moderated Q&A to follow.

Please note: Due to construction at the Albany NanoTech Complex, parking is not available on-site. Complimentary parking is available nearby at the University at Albany Dutch Quad Resident Lot. A shuttle will be available between the parking lot and Albany NanoTech Complex between 11:15 AM-12:15 PM and again between 1:30 PM-2:30 PM.

There is no cost to attend this event, however due to security measures in place at Albany Nanotech, you must RSVP below if planning to attend. Please also be prepared to bring a government issued ID.

 

John C. Williams, President and CEO, Federal Reserve Bank of New York

John C. Williams is the president and chief executive officer of the New York Fed. In that capacity, he serves as the vice chair and a permanent voting member of the Federal Open Market Committee.

Before joining the New York Fed in 2018, Mr. Williams was the president and CEO of the San Francisco Fed, which he first joined in 2002 and subsequently served as research director. He began his career as an economist at the Federal Reserve’s Board of Governors, and he has also served in roles at the White House Council of Economic Advisers and Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.
