2020 Cybersecurity Assistance Grant

September 22, 2020: 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Whether you have a tier one manufacturing contract with the Department of Defense, or you’ve been subcontracted to make gaskets all the way down the supply chain, you will soon be required to meet the standards of the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification.

Join speakers Cory Albrecht, Everton H. Henriques and Paul LaPorte for an introductory conversation on cybersecurity at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 22.

What You’ll Learn:

  • What cybersecurity myths have you fallen for?
  • What misconceptions may you have?
  • How can you be proactive, not reactive?
  • An introduction to Mohawk Valley Community College and FuzeHub’s 2020 Cybersecurity Assistance Grant. This opportunity will allow DoD manufacturers in NYS to join a Cohort, where participants will learn how to become compliant with the DFARS clause based on the NIST SP 800-171 document requirements, as well as to become familiar with the CMMC. From the cohort, eligible DoD manufacturers will have the opportunity to receive funding to be used towards a personalized cybersecurity assessment.

Our expert speakers will show your company how to begin readying yourself to meet these standards and what resources are available to those who need further assistance making the grade.

This webinar is part one of a five-part series hosted by Mohawk Valley Community College’s Advanced Institute for Manufacturing and FuzeHub.
