“Veteran real estate developer Marc Paquin knows the emotional highs and lows of large-scale historic renovation projects.

‘I love them very early on in the process,” he said. “I hate them when I’m in the middle of them.’

‘And when I’m finished,” he added, “I love them again.’

If he sticks to that script, the Cass Hill Development Co. president and CEO is likely close to loving Schenectady’s landmark Wedgeway Building again.”

Time names AngioDynamic’s cancer-fighting NanoKnife a top invention

“It was not even a year ago that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration granted AngioDynamics approval for its NanoKnife device to be used in prostate cancer treatment.

Now, Time magazine says the device is one of the best inventions of 2025.

Prostate cancer is the second-most common cancer among men, according to AngioDynamics, and survival rates are high when the disease is treated early.”

Construction begins on South Street Apartments in Glens Falls

“Construction is now underway on the South Street Apartments, a new $27 million affordable housing complex in downtown Glens Falls.

The 70-unit, mixed-use complex at South and Elm streets is being built by Bonacio Development of Saratoga Springs, which has also led the redevelopment of three other buildings in the same vicinity, called Market Square, which has both market-rate apartments and commercial space.
