SPAC plans $12M upgrade for Spa Little Theater

“Saratoga Performing Arts Center is planning a $17.5 million capital campaign centered on a $12 million overhaul and expansion of the organization’s off-season home in Saratoga Spa State Park.

Leaning into its goal of more year-round events, SPAC is expanding and renovating the 500-seat Spa Little Theater, located just across the park from the SPAC amphitheater.”

“A $35,000 loan helped Argyle Cheese Farmer finish its plant when the firm started out 18 years ago.

Whitehall-based Hogwash Cleaning Solution got $150,000 to buy new equipment for its existing business and another $200,000 more recently to purchase a new building.”

M.J. Properties gets approval for new warehouses off Tabor Road in Halfmoon

“A large developer of industrial parks in southern Saratoga County received approval Monday to build four more warehouses totaling 240,000 square feet.

The Halfmoon Planning Board approved the site plan for M.J. Properties to construct four 60,000-square-foot warehouses at 103 Tabor Road.”

RPI receives $10M gift from Ajit Prabhu to establish pre-venture fund

“Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute has received a $10 million gift to establish a pre-venture fund for entrepreneurial students and faculty.

Ajit Prabhu, founder/CEO of Quest Global and a 1998 master’s degree graduate of RPI, contributed to create the Ajit Prabhu Catalyst Endowment and the Ajit Prabhu Catalyst Fund.”

P1 Industries expanding to Schenectady County’s Airport Business Park

“Bolstered by growth in the sectors it serves, manufacturer P1 Industries is expanding to Schenectady County’s Airport Business Park in Glenville.

The Schenectady-based company has leased two under-construction buildings totaling 90,000 square feet. The site is off Airport Road between the headquarters of C2 Design Group and the recently expanded Schenectady County Ray Wemple Memorial Rink.”
