New Coca-Cola warehouse in Halfmoon takes shape
“Progress is continuing on a new Coca-Cola distribution center in Halfmoon.
Construction of the 125,703-square-foot facility at 15 Liebich Lane is expected to wrap up around the end of this year or the first quarter of 2027, according to James Werosta, operations lead for ARCO National Construction’s Albany office.”
Metroplex gets $6M for improvements at GE Vernova campus
“The state’s economic development arm has awarded $6 million to support infrastructure improvements at GE Vernova’s Advanced Research Center off Balltown Road in Niskayuna.
The funding from Empire State Development for the Schenectady County Metroplex Development Authority will support $12 million in water supply improvements, stormwater management upgrades and construction of a connector road at the 194-acre campus, according to an announcement on Tuesday.”
Upstate Cookie Shack to move its North Greenbush location
“Alicia and Robert Jansen started Upstate Cookie Shack in 2020 with a video of 7-ounce cookies on social media.
‘I was doing a cookie giveaway and it kind of just took off from there,’ Alicia Jansen said. ‘I think people were at home, not doing much, and they just started sharing the video.’”
EV charger installer PISO moves to Colonie
“An installer of large-scale electric vehicle infrastructure has moved to Colonie from Columbia County following significant revenue growth.
PlugIn Stations Online, or PISO, has leased about 7,000 square feet of warehouse and office space at 10 Petra Lane in Colonie’s Clark Industrial Park.”
