A high-tech powerhouse is on the rise in Albany. Here’s a look inside
“Over the past two years, a new building has been on the rise at Albany NanoTech. Later this year, the shining behemoth will become a beacon in the computer chip industry.
It’s called NanoFab Reflection. It’s expected to cost $614 million to build as part of a $10 billion computer chip research center plan announced by Gov. Kathy Hochul in December 2023.”
Albany International Airport flights, passengers rise in 2025

Fred the Butcher plans expansion in New Scotland
“Local butcher shop Fred the Butcher appeared before the New Scotland Planning Board Tuesday to present its much-anticipated expansion plans at its second location.
The business — which also has a location in Halfmoon — hinted on social media last summer about its plans for the shop at 386 Maple Road (Route 85A), just outside the hamlet of Slingerlands.”
