Price Chopper to expand presence in Rotterdam Corporate Park

“Price Chopper/Market 32 is set to expand its presence in the Rotterdam Corporate Park with a $12 million investment to create a centralized kitchen that will service its Capital Region locations and create 100 new jobs.

The Golub Corp., the supermarket chain’s parent company, has entered into a 20-year lease agreement for 42,000 square feet of space at the industrial park in order to improve efficiencies and bolster quality for its fresh food options.”

Route 9 project expected to drive ‘Field of Dreams’ growth in Schodack

“A five-mile stretch of U.S. Route 9 around the Rensselaer-Columbia county line is getting a shot in the arm.

The segmented project — including the installation of 26,500 linear feet of pipe, 43 water hydrants and 24 valves — began in late 2023. A number of properties have already connected to the system, according to officials.”

Ferguson acquires Independent Pipe and Supply, expands in Albany

“A publicly traded distributor of plumbing, HVAC and other supplies added a location in north Albany through a recent acquisition.

Ferguson (NYSE: FERG), headquartered in Newport News, Virginia, acquired Independent Pipe and Supply Corp. of Massachusetts at the end of March, according to a news release. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.”
