Regeneron joins FDA fast-track program for Saratoga Springs drug plant
“Regeneron Pharmaceuticals has been selected to participate in a new federal pilot program to “fast-track” pharmaceutical drug manufacturing facilities in the United States, a move that could accelerate construction of the company’s planned $2 billion plant in Saratoga Springs.
The Tarrytown-based biotechnology company was chosen by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for its planned manufacturing campus on the former Quad/Graphics site in Saratoga Springs. The facility is expected to employ 1,000 workers once completed, in addition to about 500 construction jobs during development.”
New warehouse pitched for Native Park in Queensbury
“Tim Barber and his partners plan to expand Native Park in Queensbury with the construction of an 80,000-square-foot commercial office building and warehouse.
Plans filed with the Queensbury Planning Board show a proposal from Native Development Associates for a new multi-tenant building at 41 Native Drive.”
Good Neighbor Fund launches Capital Region chapter
“A new nonprofit dedicated to funding early-stage businesses has started a chapter in the Capital Region.
The Good Neighbor Fund was founded in Buffalo in 2023 and now has a presence in Western New York, Central New York, the Capital Region and Denver. To date, over $34,000 in grants have been awarded.”

Xanadu Quantum Technologies expanding in Albany
“A Canadian quantum computing company is expanding U.S. operations that it says are anchored in Albany.
Xanadu Quantum Technologies Limited (Nasdaq: XNDU) said its U.S.-based employment is more than five times larger than it was in 2023 and expects to grow the workforce “significantly” this year.”
