State’s $10 Million Investment Will Fund Lake George Improvements; Spur Economy
“The state’s $10 million investment in Lake George is expected to reinvigorate its local economy for decades to come.
A new Shepard Park bandshell and amphitheater, slated to open next summer, is one of 13 projects scheduled for completion over the next five years.”
Rapidus, Siemens Join 2-nm Alliance Targeting 2027 Production
“Rapidus and EDA vendor Siemens have allied in support of the new Japanese foundry’s aim for 2-nm wafer production by 2027.
Rapidus is building alliances with ecosystem partners such as IBM and AI chip designer Tenstorrent. IBM, the world’s first company to make 2-nm chips on a pilot line in New York State, is transferring tech to Rapidus, which will potentially become an IBM supplier.”
Integrated Liner Technologies plans East Greenbush expansion
“A maker of cap liners used in sample packaging for the pharmaceutical industry and other markets wants to expand its East Greenbush headquarters.
Plans recently filed with the town of East Greenbush call for a 53,283-square-foot addition to Integrated Liner Technologies’ complex off Discovery Drive near Regeneron Pharmaceutical’s Red Mill campus.”
Kiliaen’s Landing on Rensselaer riverfront would include 300 apartments
“The Polsinello family has owned land along the Hudson River in Rensselaer since the 1970s when Lou Polsinello Jr. started buying parcels for what was initially envisioned as a high-rise condomium and then a resort-style apartment complex.
While Chateau Rensselaer never got off the ground, Polsinello held onto the properties just north of the Livingston Avenue Bridge and continued to focus on his fuel distribution company at the Port of Rensselaer.”
