Port of Albany awarded $18.8 million to fast-track Beacon Island

“The Port of Albany is being awarded $18.79 million through Gov. Kathy Hochul’s FAST NY program to upgrade infrastructure at key potential business sites across the state.

The Port of Albany award was the largest of several grants Hochul announced Tuesday, including $11.5 million for the Buffalo and Erie County Land Development Corp. to turn a former airport into an agricultural and food business park.”
