Tariff concerns help draw High Point buyers to Telescope Casual

“Telescope Casual‘s prominent spot on the first floor of Showplace is a huge a walk-in draw for curious High Point buyers even in normal times, but that appears to have been supercharged this spring.

With tariffs rewriting the value proposition for domestic producers, Telescope aims to introduce its performance-focused product line to new customers while shoring up the contract relationships that have always been a strong point for the company.”

IT firm cb20 buys downtown Saratoga office space at Park Place Condominiums

“IT firm cb20 has moved to new office space in the heart of downtown Saratoga Springs.

The firm bought an office condo at 268 Broadway at the end of March for $1.425 million. Arrow Bank provided a $1.14 million mortgage.”

Aquatic Development Group finishes work on OKANA, targets high-end spa projects

“A Cohoes-based designer and builder of water parks played a key role in the development of a new $400 million resort in Oklahoma City.

Aquatic Development Group served as the owner’s representative for the Chickasaw Nation’s sprawling OKANA Resort & Indoor Waterpark, which opened in February.”

$400M for Albany cruises through state budget

“The city of Albany is poised to receive nearly half a billion dollars in state funding for a massive downtown revitalization plan, a move that state officials said could significantly reshape a community long plagued by suburban flight, inner-city violence and flagging economic development.

Gov. Kathy Hochul announced a tentative deal on the behemoth state budget Monday evening, highlighting $400 million in capital funds she said would inject much-needed new life into the urban core of New York’s capital city.

Encompass Supply Chain Solutions relocates to larger Clifton Park hub

“A repair-parts supplier is relocating its distribution hub for the Northeast from Colonie to Clifton Park, where it’s leasing a 103,000-square-foot warehouse in M.J. Properties’ Synergy Park.

The company, Encompass Supply Chain Solutions, sells appliance and electronics parts to large retailers like P.C. Richard & Son, smaller service outfits and individual consumers. It’s owned by Illinois-based Parts Town Unlimited, which booked $2.5 billion in revenue last year.”
