Rail Modal Group gets investment from InfraRed Capital Partners

“Albany-based rail logistics company Rail Modal Group has taken on new investment to grow the company’s footprint locally and nationwide.

InfraRed Capital Partners recently acquired a majority stake in Rail Modal Group, the company announced earlier this week. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.”

Realm Artesian Water expands to national distribution

“Clifton Park-based bottled water company Realm Artesian Water has expanded to national distribution after just four months of bottling.

The company is working with a distributor in Southern California and is about to kick off distribution in Texas, CEO Todd Kletter said.”

Albany Med plans to relocate 100 corporate staff to Latham

“Albany Med Health System is moving about 100 corporate employees temporarily to an office building in Latham this fall as the area’s largest health system plans to centralize its corporate headquarters.

Albany Med officials said key executive and operations leaders will relocate to 17 Plaza Drive in Latham by November.”

Historic Troy theater set to reopen this winter

“The restoration of the historic American Theater on River Street is expected to be complete by winter, officials announced Thursday during a celebratory ribbon-cutting for the project.

The Proctors Collaborative project, housed in the theater built in 1890, now carries a $7.1 million price tag, up from an estimated $2.8 million to $3.5 million in 2023, according to city officials and project documents. The restoration is being funded with city and state dollars.”

Foothills Builders to start construction of Lofts at Warren

“Joe Leuci of Foothills Builders expects to break ground this fall on a 65-unit apartment building in downtown Glens Falls.

The 69,000-square-foot project at 109-117 Warren St. will transform the lot of a former car dealership into the Lofts at Warren apartments with 3,000 square feet of commercial space. It will be the Queensbury developer’s largest project to date.”
