DESCRIPTION:The VentureB Innovation Series is a program focused on providing startups with hands-on educational training. The topics in this series will help start-ups effectively grow their business by gaining tangible experience in 90 minute workshops. \nThis session of the VentureB Innovation Workshop will have participants explore applied aspects of estimating your market size through top down and bottom up techniques. During this program\, participants will actively build a top down and bottom up example\, walking away with a template for future use. \nTopics will include basic resources to find market size information as well as the importance of making these estimates\, what you should consider\, when you should consider them\, and the impact this has on raising funds and marketing plan development. \n REGISTER \nCost to Attend: $20\nLunch will be included! \nThe class will be led by Michael Lobsinger\, Center Director of CEG. DESCRIPTION:Join The Albany Capital Center (ACC) along with the Center for Economic Growth (CEG)\, Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) and Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) in welcoming the largest Northeast collegiate Esports event to-date to the Capital Region.\nThe conference and expo will feature the ECAC Esports Championships presenting three popular game titles\, inlcuding Overwatch\, League of Legends\, and Fortnite.  The Expo will showcase regional game development studios\, Empire State Development’s Digital Game Hubs at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and New York University\, college programs focused on games and Esports\, local artists\, independent developers and other Esports lifestyle brands\, hands-on gameplay\, retail vendors and more. \nParticipating ECAC esports members\, who will be competing for a championship title at HV Gamer Con 2019 at the ACC currently include\, Canisius College\, DeSales University\, Drew University\, Keuka College\, Mansfield University\, Marist College\, Moravian College\, Neumann University\, Quinnipiac University\, Sacred Heart University\, Saint Peter’s University\, Siena College\, Stevenson University\, Stockton University\, SUNY Canton and Texas Wesleyan University. \nThe expo will cater to the regional gaming and esports community\, featuring up to 50 vendors.
