DESCRIPTION:Wednesday\, December 3 | 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. on ZOOM \nWhat you can expect:\nWe invite you to join this information session to learn about the\nCenter for Economic Growth’s pre-apprenticeship programs: Real\nLife Rosies and Advance 2 Apprenticeship. During the session\, we’ll\nprovide an overview of pre-apprenticeships\, explain how the\nprograms work\, and highlight how they create opportunities for\nemployment in manufacturing for underrepresented individuals\,\nincluding women and people with disabilities. We welcome\ncommunity organizations to attend and learn how they can help \nAbout Pre-Apprenticeship programs:\nReal Life Rosies and Advance 2 Apprenticeship are no-cost pre-apprenticeship programs\ndesigned to prepare participants for careers in advanced manufacturing and entry into\napprenticeship or entry-level roles. The programs recruit underrepresented populations in the\nindustry and provide them with hands-on technical skill training and soft skill development to\nprepare them for the workplace.
