DESCRIPTION:Technology and Science Job & Internship Fair (Spr. 2021)\n\nWednesday\, March 10th 2021\, 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm EST\n\n  \nThe Office of Career & Professional Development would like to invite you to the Spring 2021 Virtual Career Fairs from March 3 to March 24\, 2021. The four industry specific Virtual Fairs are recruiting events attended by current UAlbany students and alumni. All students and alumni are encouraged to pre-register for the upcoming fairs. Pre-registration provides employers the opportunity to view student and alumni profiles\, message students to connect with you the day of each fair and schedule a 1 on 1\, or group sessions. \n\n\nDownload the Employer Flyer here>>  \nDownload the Students/Alumni Flyer here>> \n  \nCareer Fair Description \n\nThe Technology and Science Job & Internship Fair is for all students majoring in STEM degree programs\, and students interested in working in the STEM fields. The office of Career and Professional Development recommends you prepare for the virtual fair by: \n\nPre-register for the Fair: Employers get a chance to prescreen applicants and possibly make note of\, or message applicants they want to meet with\, or interview at the fair. Pre-registering does not guarantee that you will get noticed or messaged by employers\, but why would you not take advantage of such an easy step.\nResearch Registered Employers: Get a jump start by getting a list of the companies attending the fair and doing some research on each of the companies you want to connect with. With so much information about companies on the Web\, there is no excuse not to do your homework.\nComplete or Update Your Handshake Profile: Employers have the ability to view students’ profiles\, so updating your resume and the For Employers Only section will allow you to stand out.\nAttend Career Fair Prep Sessions: If you have never attended a virtual fair\, need assistance completing your Handshake profile\, or you need guidance on how to engage employers in a virtual fair.\n\nIf you need assistance registering for sessions or have any questions regarding the fair email career@albany.edu or attend one of the Virtual Fair Facts https://albany.joinhandshake.com/events \n\nREGISTER HERE>>\n
