DESCRIPTION:Presented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark and CEG\n  \nPurpose: \nTo enable state and local stakeholders to learn more about offshore wind opportunities through a dynamic\, interactive and memorable event; connect stakeholders with relevant counterparts in Denmark so they can discuss aspects which are of particular relevance to their specific needs; and contribute in a meaningful way to the building of a significant\, viable\, cost-competitive offshore wind supply chain in New York. \nTour Structure:\n\nEach tour consists of multiple themed Sessions\, each of which is independent\, and which we prepare based on specific needs. During the session\, we will introduce attendees to the topic through presentations from industry experts\, video tours\, interviews and more. \nThere will be 7 sessions\, each 1 hour\, from 12:00pm – 1:00pm EDT. Sessions will begin Wednesday\, May 12 and run weekly through Wednesday\, June 30.\n \n** UPDATE: there will be NO SESSION on Wednesday\, June 2. This two-day event\, hosted by U.S. Commercial Service India\, will help New York State companies find and meet with prospective partners in India all from the comfort of your own home or office through a virtual platform. While there are challenges to doing business in India\, finding a local partner and the assistance that the U.S. Commercial Service can provide will make it significantly easier. If you’re ready to export\, then this program can help boost the odds of your making sales and getting into or expanding into this promising market. We’re actively recruiting interested businesses in the following sectors: \n\nAerospace and defense\nEnvironmental technologies\, including clean air\, clean water\, environmental monitoring technologies\nRenewable energy\, including nuclear\nInformation and communication technologies – smart cities technology and 5G\nEducation tech\n\nIndia offers ample opportunities for U.S. companies to do business given its position as a fast-growing country with a massive consumer market. \nWHEN: May 26-27\, 2021.
