DESCRIPTION:Whether you have a tier one manufacturing contract with the Department of Defense\, or you’ve been subcontracted to make gaskets all the way down the supply chain\, you will soon be required to meet the standards of the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification. \nJoin speakers Cory Albrecht\, Everton H. Henriques and Paul LaPorte for an introductory conversation on cybersecurity at 11 a.m. on Thursday\, September 22. \nWhat You’ll Learn: \n\nWhat cybersecurity myths have you fallen for?\nWhat misconceptions may you have?\nHow can you be proactive\, not reactive?\nAn introduction to Mohawk Valley Community College and FuzeHub’s 2020 Cybersecurity Assistance Grant. This opportunity will allow DoD manufacturers in NYS to join a Cohort\, where participants will learn how to become compliant with the DFARS clause based on the NIST SP 800-171 document requirements\, as well as to become familiar with the CMMC.
