SUMMARY:Industry 4.0\, IoT\, & The Post Covid-19 Manufacturing Landscape
DESCRIPTION:New Technologies And Valuable Insights To Thrive Through Challenges \nImplementing the next generation of manufacturing technologies is critical to thriving in the age of social distancing.  Remote work and social distancing will be around for the foreseeable future. Advances in flexible manufacturing\, internet of things\, and predictive maintenance can allow production to continue and thrive under these conditions.  \nThe conference will be an opportunity to hear from experts in several areas of Industry 4.0 as well as networking at breakout tables where you can share lessons learned and also learn from other manufacturers with similar experiences.  How did you manage in the post COVID landscape?  We want to hear from you! Along with the added benefit of learning about the great Industry 4.0 resources available in NY State.    \nFor our second event in the Manufacturing Reimagined series\, we are excited to announce Carroll Thomas\, Director of the Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP)\, as our keynote speaker. Ms. Thomas leads the MEP network\, which supports American manufacturing with a national network of 51 MEP centers\, 375 service locations\, and 1\,400 advisors. \nMs. Thomas will be followed by other Industry 4.0 experts showcasing valuable technologies and resources available to NY manufacturers\, including: \n\nBill Pollock and Dan Curry of Optimation\nAjay Khaladkar\, Technical Program Manager of Advanced Manufacturing and Industry 4.0 Solutions at Rochester Institute of Technology\nAmanda Moore and Paul Birchmeier of Design Systems\, Inc.\n\n  \nImmediately after the presentations\, network with industry colleagues through the Remo virtual event platform. Topics will include a wide range of issues facing NY manufacturers\, providing an excellent opportunity to solicit feedback from peers and to share best practices. \nWe look forward to seeing you there! Information for this and future Manufacturing Reimagined events is available at newyorkmep.org.  \n  \n\n
