SUMMARY:CPT Training Webinar
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a webinar to learn about the CPT training program for your manufacturing workforce.   \nThis past fall\, we piloted a Certified Production Technician (CPT) training\, a program of the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC)\, a national industry recognized credential\, in the Capital Region with great success. Employers sponsored existing employees in the program for the CPT certification to expand their training in the key areas of Safety; Quality Practices & Measurement; Manufacturing Processes & Production; and Maintenance Awareness. \nIn addition to the CPT production modules\, the program was further customized to include Leadership Skills\, Problem Solving\, and Customer Service\, with CNC and Mechatronics workshops. Manufacturers selected employees they were interested in retaining and promoting for participation in the training. Employers who sponsored employees in the program were overwhelmingly pleased with the training\, and several will likely send additional employees to the spring training program. \nWe are now looking to fill the second cohort starting this spring. Please join us for a webinar to learn more about this training from the providers\, Schenectady County Community College (SCCC) and Capital Region BOCES\, and hear directly from manufacturers who have utilized the training. \nDATE: Thursday\, February 14\, 2019\n TIME: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM \nRegister >>
