Erick James is a Business Growth Facilitator and Coach for the Center for Economic Growth. Erick combines a strong technical background with a business development focus. His past duties have been creating and implementing marketing strategy and business development growth initiatives for high tech companies. His experience ranges widely including: strategic/creative website development, web presence, search result placement, pay-per-click advertising; email marketing and campaign management; trade show and conference material creation including booth and printed material design, production, and logistics; market research and customer segmentation; and PR campaigns including written articles and releases. Also, Erick is a Sandler Sales Institute graduate and has experience in direct sales and sales management including strategy development, customer relationship management implementation, and direct sales activity.
Underlying Erick’s sales/marketing focus is his technical experience which includes: qualifying/characterizing/debugging electro-mechanical systems as a Test Engineer; creating test procedures and designing in-house test facilities; operation manual development and phone/on-site customer support and installation for new products; designing and performing critical materials and procedure experiments resulting in product design improvements. Erick has published three technical papers.
