Growth Center marks year with tech successes

SCHENECTADY — With Tech Valley’s standing as a nanotechnology hub firming up, the Center for Economic Growth next year plans to intensify its attempts to diversify the region’s technology mix with biotech and clean tech ventures.
And as nanotechnology companies such as Advanced Micro Devices and International Sematech prepare to set up shop in Malta and Albany, the CEG plans to involve more Tech Valley communities in smart growth planning for a mass influx of tech workers.
