Expert addresses need of universities to properly value their licenses

ALBANY - Universities are finding it increasingly lucrative to license technologies developed in their laboratories, according to a new National Science Foundation study. But it can be a challenge to measure just how much those licenses are worth, so-called technology transfer officials say.
