COLONIE—There's something to be said for homegrown talent. It's why four sizable life sciences companies established themselves in and around the Capital Region.
"The reason we're here is the founders lived here," said Thomas D'Ambra, chairman, president and CEO of Albany Molecular Research Inc. D'Ambra was one of four panelists Monday evening at an event marking the fifth anniversary of the networking organization Bioconnex.
